Elsie Edna Miller

She was born February 13, 1924 in Freeman, SD, the daughter of Albert and Adella Nehring Pidde.She married Frederick Miller July 13, 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1952. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Miller grew up in Freeman, SD. until her late teens when she moved to the Chicagoland area to work. While there she worked for Tingue Brown and Company for several years until she retired and moved to Springifeld.

She was a member of the Lutheran Faith. She enjoyed participating in many activities at Concordia Village. She also enjoyed gardening, needlework, knitting, cooking and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda(husband, Ronald ) Miller of Dixon and Donna (husband, Dennis) Ferguson of Springfield; four grandchildren, Abigail Lynn, Christopher Lynn, Stacy(husband, Edgar) Arroyo and Julia( husband, Joshua) Secrest; two great grandchildren, Teyana and Yesena; a brother, Theodore(wife, Delores) Pidde of Freeman,SD. and a sister, Alice Reynolds of Chickasha, OK.

Graveside services will be held 10:30 AM Monday May 7, 2007 at Chapel Hill Gardens West in Oakbrook Terrace with Rev. Wolf Knappe officiating. Memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity, 320 N.
