EnettaL. Banta, 81, of Springfield, died at 9:11 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Enetta was born January 5, 1933 in Springfield, the daughter of Harold and Agnes Stover Gossage. She married Glen P. Banta in 1954 in Colfax, WA; he preceded her in death on August 9, 2000. Enetta graduated from Colfax High School in Colfax, WA and attended a business college for a couple of years. She enjoyed crafts, fishing, and painting. She was also preceded in death by her parents and son, Harold Banta. She is survived by her children, Roberta Banta, Sally Banta, and Michelle Nolting, all of Springfield; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Private family ceremonies will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery with the Rev. Willmar Cohen officiating.
