

Erman Paoni, 91, of Springfield, died on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at his residence. He was born on April 15, 1915 in Springfield, the son of Paul and Nancy Pambianco Paoni. He married Lucille Biscontini on January 24, 1947 in Springfield; she preceded him in death in 2005. He was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran. He owned the Romany Club for fifty years and retired from the Baptist Building after seventeen years as the head of the maintenance department. He is survived by one daughter: Sharon (husband, Keith) Schroeder of Springfield; four grandchildren: Marsha (husband, Dean) Brogdon of Springfield, Lee (wife, Gina) Ingraham of Melissa, TX, Martha Schroeder of Springfield and Amy (husband, Ron) Mihalich also of Springfield; eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters: Jean Mlaker, Mary Frasco and Anna Antonacci and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation accorded by Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Ceremonies will be held at a later date.
