She was born in West Point, IL Oct. 4, 1920 the daughter of Karl Herbert and Nellie Florence Mayberry Hart. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a sister Doris June Hart.
Esto was the owner of Fairview Farm Stables and had owned and shown many champion Saddlebred Horses and Hackney Ponies. She was the first Girl Scout to earn the horsemanship badge. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Margaret Blackstock Circle of King’s Daughters.
She is survived by her cousins, Irene Russo, Alberta Lewis, Katherine Horsely and Becky Purdy and her pug, Gigi.
Graveside services will be held in Oak Ridge Cemetery 11:00 A.M. Thursday Sept. 26, 2013 with Rev. Dr. Clifford Hayes officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Animal Protective League 1001 Taintor Rd. Springfield, IL. 62702. Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
