Evelyn J. (Omundson) Bradshaw

Evelyn was born on January 23, 1945 in Estherville, IA, the daughter of James M. and Velma Perkins Omundson.

Evelyn was a 1963 graduate of Estherville High School. She was employed with SIU Medical Records for 3 years and Bunn Capitol for 9 years, but spent most of her career with Mankato Citizens Telephone for 26 years. She enjoyed spending her spare time quilting, traveling, knitting, and mastering calligraphy.

She was preceded in death by her son, Brett Bradshaw; her parents; and sister, Susan Von Bank Wheeler.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Lynsey N. (William Capella) of Springfield, Jacob M. (Brie) of Blue Mound, IL, and Jonathan H. Bradshaw of Springfield; one great-grandchild, Eliana Bradshaw and one on the way; seven siblings, Ronald (Eddie) Omundson of Casa Grande, AZ, John Omundson of Casa Grande, AZ, Richard (Irene) Omundson of Clinton, IN, Sharon (Orville) Omundson of Emmetsburg, IA, David (Marla) Omundson of Manteno, IL, Jim (Vicky) Omundson of Bondurant, IA, and Peggy Oelkers of Dodge, NE; many nieces and nephews; and devoted best friend, Shirley Terbeest.

Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.

Graveside Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Roselawn Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Thomas Radtke officiating. Due to COVID restrictions, there will be limited capacity.
