Floyd E. Pratt, 79, of Springfield, formerly of Auburn died at 6:20 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2005 at Capitol Care Center. Floyd was born January 29, 1926 in Jacksonville, IL the son of Otto and Leona Pratt Wilson. He married Cindy Welch in July 2003 in Auburn, IL. Mr. Pratt was a farmer for many years. He loved horses and was a member of Joy Assembly in Stonington, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Shirley Moats. He is survived by wife: Cindy Pratt of Springfield; two sisters: Mildred Mort of Springfield and Marjorie A. (husband, Donald) Cody of Pawnee; one brother: Norman E. (wife, Debbie) Wilson of Divernon; two aunts: Murvine Libolt of California and Cleota Spears of Kentucky; one uncle: Melvin Pratt of Springfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Timothy Moats officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
