

He was born on March 3, 1964, in Springfield, the son of the late John “Jack” L. Roth and Shirley A. (Micko) Pillischafske. He married Brenda Dyer in Springfield in 1985 and she survives.
Mr. Roth worked as a printer for the IL Department of Revenue for 31 years. He was a HAM Radio operator, served as a Cub Scout leader for 6 years, fond of music, and was a bike enthusiast, both bicycle and motorcycle.
Besides his wife Brenda, he is survived by 2 sons, Joshua Roth and Joseph Roth, both of Pawnee, IL, a grandson Drake Roth of Pawnee, IL, a half-sister Courtney (husband Shawn) McGath of New Berlin, IL, a half-brother Gene Pillischafske of Springfield, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield where visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014 from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Clearlake Township.
