Hazel Gudgel, 92, of Camdenton, Missouri, formerly of Springfield, passed away on December 17, 2025 at Camdenton Windsor Estates. She was born on April 19, 1933 in Virden, Illinois to Edwin Sanders and Eva Wahlsmith Sanders. Hazel married Thomas Gudgel and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Gudgel is survived by her children: Judy (Gary) Howell of Springfield, Jerry Gudgel of Camdenton, MO., Connie (Fred) Bisby of Springfield, Robin Hamra of Camdenton, MO., and Chris Gudgel of Springfield, eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son Randy Gudgel, several siblings, one great-grandchild Gary J. Howell Jr., and one son-in-law Frank Hamra.
A private graveside service was held at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
