Helen Frances Jones

Helen was born July 17, 1944, in Morrisonville, IL, the daughter of Roy A. and Marie H. Krager Jones.

She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1962 and was employed as a data input assistant for the State of Illinois Secretary of State until her retirement on August 1, 2009, after 37 years of service. Helen was a member of St. Maurice Catholic Church in Morrisonville and the National Catholic Society of Foresters. She enjoyed reading, bowling, working on wordsearches, watching NASCAR racing, and collecting Danielle Steele books.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dennis Jones.

She is survived by her siblings, Al (Debby) Jones of Quincy and Ruth Boch of Taylorville and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation and Funeral Mass: Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at St. Maurice Catholic Church, 706 East 4th St., Morrisonville, IL. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Florent Emmanuel Kanga, S.A.C, celebrant.

Burial will follow at St. Maurice Cemetery.
