

Henry J. Marbold, 50, of Rochester, passed away at 5:20 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at his home. Henry was born November 13, 1960 in Springfield, the son of Henry "Hank" and Lola Brawner Marbold. He married Terri Horrighs on October 4, 1986 in Sherman. Henry was a graduate of Lanphier High School and worked as a carpenter for BRH Builders and Constructors. He was a member of Carpenters Local 16, Safari Club International, Elks Foundation, HOGS, and Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed hunting, restoring cars, riding his Harley, and spending time with his grandsons. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James Davis II and Bradley Marbold; and two sisters, Connie Clark and Georgene Esper. He is survived by his wife, Terri of Rochester; a son, Henry J. (wife, Laura) Marbold II of Andrew; a daughter, Danielle Marbold of Rochester; two grandchildren, Bradley Allen and Gavin Joseph Marbold; parents, Hank and Lola Marbold formerly of Sherman; two brothers, Terry (wife, Beth) Davis of Russellville, AR and Greg (wife, Karin) Marbold of Richmond, VA; three sisters, Margie Sharick and Cindy Wanless, both of Chillicothe, IL and Robin (husband, John) Weakly of Springfield; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield with Deacon David Sorrell officiating.
