Ian K. Westcott, 50, of Springfield, died at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2007 at his residence. He was born August 5, 1956 in San Antonio, TX. Ian was a graduate of Lanphier High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was employed as a chef for Max’s California Bar and Grill. He is survived by one daughter: Sara J. Westcott of Springfield; several siblings; and companion: De Etta Perks of Springfield. Graveside ceremonies will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Camp Butler National Cemetery where the Interveterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County will perform military honors.
