

James “Jim” Lozosky, 68, of Petersburg, died at 3:28 p.m., Monday, August 1, 2005 at his residence. Jim was born July 8, 1937 in Vienna, the son of Stanley and Mildred House Lozosky. He married Patsy Pickerill on October 22, 1966 in Springfield. Mr. Lozosky was employed by City Water Light and Power for over 30 years. He was a member of the Springfield Bass Club and attended Petersburg United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife: Pat of Petersburg; son: Mike (wife, Jennifer) Lozosky of Las Vegas, NV; sister: Rose Ausmus of Springfield; one niece: Amy Joseph; one nephew: Paul Olshefsky and three great nieces. Cremation will be accorded by the Cremation Tribute Center. There will be a memorial gathering from 4-8:00 p.m., Friday, August 5, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Memorial Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2005 at Petersburg United Methodist Church, 221 W. Jackson, Petersburg, IL with Pastor Bob Shook officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Petersburg Public Library, 220 South Sixth, Petersburg, IL 62675 or Petersburg United Methodist Church, 221 W. Jackson, Petersburg, IL 62675.
