

James Richard Perry, 76, of "wherever he parked the coach, USA," died at 12:05 a.m. on Sunday, December 24, 2017 in Tifton, GA. James was born June 20, 1941 in Brown County, IL, the son of Charles and Dorothy Kallasch Perry. He married Vicki Collins on December 31, 1965 in Davenport, IA. James graduated from Mt. Sterling High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was what he described as a doormaninstalling automatic doors for Stanley Access Technology. James enjoyed traveling around the United States. James especially enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, bowling, and rehabbing houses. He was never afraid of starting a conversation with a stranger and providing encouraging words and wisdom to others. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Perry. He is survived by his wife, Vicki Perry; his children, Jeana (husband, Todd) Schoener, Brian (wife, Tandra) Perry, and Tessa (husband, Lou) French; grandchildren, Stefani (husband, Brock) Seabaugh, Kayla (husband, Kris) Schuette, Keegan Perry, Corporal Gavin Perry, Seaman Kiersten Perry, Louie French, and Parker French; great-grandchildren, Hope, Skylar, Connor, and Harper; sister, Mary Fries; and six nieces and nephews. Funeral Ceremony: 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Pastor Brooks Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Perry Cemetery in Cooperstown Township, IL.
