

Jamie Johnson, 29, of Springfield, died at 1:59 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at St. John's Hospital. Jamie was born January 2, 1984 in Springfield, the son of Timothy and Mary Ann Daniels Johnson. Jamie attended Sacred Heart-Griffin High School and graduated from Southeast High School. He was employed with Fairmont Resorts in Santa Monica, California. Jamie loved spending time with his children. He also enjoyed playing hockey; he was a member of the Springfield Youth Hockey Association, and played in St. Louis for the 1984 Elite Tournament Team, with tournaments in Toronto, Canada and Minnesota with his twin brother, Jason. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Daniels, Sr. and Lee Johnson. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Daniels Johnson of Springfield; father, Timothy (fiance, Emberly Bollinger) Johnson of Springfield; children, Isabella "Bella" Marie Staab, Nicholas Lee Johnson, and Lakyn Pitcher; twin brother, Jason A. Johnson; brothers, Timothy J. (wife, Sarah) Johnson, Jr., Cooper Jackson Johnson, and Crosby James Johnson; grandmothers, Carolyn Daniels and Judith Johnson; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and two special nieces, Eva and Ivy Johnson. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following ceremonies. Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the ceremony at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jamie Johnson Children's Fund at any Marine Bank location or to the Clare Foundation, 909 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90404.
