

Jane Stroud Hahn, 77, of Springfield, died at 6:34 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. Jane was born June 15, 1935 in St. Joseph, MO, the daughter of Charles W. and Alice Devall Stroud. Jane received her bachelors in history from MacMurray College and was one of the first female trainers hired by IBM. She was a travel agent for Circle Tour Travel for many years. Jane was involved with Jr. League, Anti-Illicit Drug Society, the Muni, Springfield Theater Guild, and many other things in the community. She served on MacMurray Alumni Board and was a Den Mother for Cub Scouts. Jane enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by two sons, Lindsay Hahn of Springfield and Charles J. (wife, Laura) Hahn of Champaign; one daughter, Alice Lou Hahn (husband, Tim) Gosling of Charlbury, England; and six grandchildren, Jenna and Leanne Hahn of Springfield, Elizabeth Hahn of Nashville, TN, Andrew Hahn of Champaign, and Ella and Katy Gosling of Charlbury, England. Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Private family burial will be held.
