Jeffrey Jeff T. Bowden

Jeffrey “Jeff” Bowden, 39, of Springfield, died on Thursday, June 2, 2005 at his home. Jeff was born on February 6, 1966 in Lincoln, the son of Thomas D. and Dorothy A. Baldin Bowden. He was a 1984 graduate of Springfield Southeast High School. He was employed by the State of Illinois Central Management Services since 1985. He was a member of Fit Club and practiced martial arts for many years. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his parents: Mr. & Mrs. Thomas D. (Peggy) Bowden and Dorothy (husband, Leslie) Hendricks all of Springfield; one sister: Cynthia (husband, Paul) Young of Springfield, one brother: Steven (wife, Susan) Bowden of Rochester; several aunts, uncles, one niece: Jaime Bowden, one nephew: Grant Bowden both of Rochester and several cousins. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m.Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Peter Wehrly officiating. Cremation accorded following funeral services by the Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield.
