She was born on November 23, 1940, in Riverton, IL, the daughter of William and Freda (Rheude) Herman. Jennett married Ernest Dannenberger, Sr., on September 16, 1961, in Riverton.
Jennett attended Riverton High School. She went on to work for the IL Department of Revenue, from which she retired. Jennett was a member of South Tower Baptist Church. She loved babysitting her grandchildren and enjoyed family dinners.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William, Tom, and Roy Herman; and one infant brother, George Herman.
Jennett is survived by her husband, Ernest Dannenberger, Sr. of Springfield; son, Ernest (Maribel) Dannenberger, Jr. of Springfield; daughters, Terri Kolker of Fairview Heights and Staci McTague of Maryville; grandchildren, Estarlyn and Esther Baez, Hannah and Claire Kolker, and Rachel McTague; and siblings, Beverly Rohrig of Illiopolis, Shearl Herndon of Springfield, and Bobbi Kinzey of Riverton.
Graveside Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Oak Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Charles “Charlie” Carver officiating.
