Jennifer Lynn Hilligoss-Holler

She was born in Springfield, May 25, 1973 the daughter of Wesley W. and Gayle N. (Greene) Hilligoss. She was a 1991 graduate of Springfield Southeast High School where she played softball. She went on to play softball in college and earned a Certified Nursing Assistant degree. Jennifer worked at the Fox Bridge Assisted Living in Memphis.

Her interest in athletics continued and she was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and a Dallas Cowboys fan. She was extremely talented in Arts and Crafts, spending hours making various items including Christmas Wreaths, and Scrapbooks for family and friends. She loved shoes.

Jennifer was a dedicated supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, both as a participant and a volunteer. She had a heart felt commitment and supporter of the Memphis Police Department.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother Gayle, her sister Sara Ann Hilligoss, her grandmother, Betty Greene and her paternal grandparents, Wesley and Marjorie Hilligoss Sr.

She is survived by her father and step-mother, Wesley and Gwen Hilligoss of Birchwood, WI, her maternal grandfather, Frank Greene, her step-father Bill Rogers both of Springfield, and her companion, Aaron McDonald of Memphis, TN. She has several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cremation Rites will be accorded by the Bisch Crematory.

Memorial Gathering and Service: The Hilligoss family will greet friends from 4 pm Thursday, May 21, 2015 until time of a memorial service at 6 pm Thursday at Bisch Funeral Home West 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd. Springfield. Pastor David Fox will officiate. Private Inurnment will be at a later date in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
