Jerry L. Lynch

Jerry was born on July 2, 1944, in Noblesville, IN, the son of Leonard and Mary Bader Lynch. He married Mary Lou Chambers on July 2, 1976, in Springfield.

Jerry was a minister at Berlin Christian Church and retired from Franklin Life Insurance. He enjoyed watching Jeopardy, playing sudoku, gardening, was an avid reader, and loved watching Indiana sports teams.

He was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother, Larry Lynch.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Lynch of New Berlin; one daughter, Aticia (Eric) Peden of Kincaid; two sons, Craig (Lori) and Curt (Shelly) Stephens, both of New Berlin; six grandchildren, Bradley (Autumn), Bryan (Natasha), Austin, and Ashley Stephens, and Alyssa and Ethan Peden; six great-grandchildren; two siblings, Mary (Rick) Davis of Indiana and David Lynch of Flint, Michigan; and sister-in-law, Jo Ann Lynch.

Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.

Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Berlin Christian Church, 2580 South Wake Rd., New Berlin. An additional memorial gathering will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022, from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. at Berlin Christian Church.

Memorial Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022, at Berlin Christian Church with Pastor Warren Brosi officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Plains Cemetery.
