She was born on October 27, 1936, in Springfield, the daughter of Lawrence and Mary (Durako) Lee.
Jo Ann graduated from Lanphier High School in 1954. She went on to work as an accounting clerk with Illinois Bell/AT&T, from which she retired. Jo Ann was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and in her younger years she enjoyed watching baseball and listening to country music.
She was preceded in death by her parents, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Calvary Cemetery in Springfield, IL, with Rev. Kevin Mann officiating.
