John P. “Paddy” Poulson, Jr., 75, of Springfield, died on Friday, December 22, 2006 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village. He was born on March 31, 1931 in Springfield, the son of John P. and Mary A. McGuire Poulson, Sr. He was a graduate of Cathedral Boys High School and a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. He worked for the Title Services Bureau for twenty-five years and then went to work for Lexis Document Services for fifteen years until his retirement in 1996. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister: Donna J. Fleck. He is survived by two nieces: Geralyn (husband, Tim) McEvoy and Kary A. (husband, Mike) Lansden both of Springfield; two nephews: Jay A. (wife, Laurie) Fleck of Springfield and Max G. Fleck of Petersburg and several great-nieces and great nephews. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1345 N. 6th St., Springfield, with Rev. Thomas P. Holinga, V.F.
