Jonathan "Jon" L. Reynolds

He was born on June 23, 1951, in Springfield, IL, the son of Thomas L. and Magdalene (Russell) Reynolds. Jon married Karen S. Wallman on February 14, 1970, in Springfield. She preceded him in death, on April 22, 2025.

Jon attended and graduated from Pawnee High School. He retired from NW Railway and went on to own JNC Construction. Jon then worked as sales manager for Homeway Homes. Jon was President of the Springfield Area Home Builders Association in 2010. He enjoyed everything to do with the railroad, racing, and spending time with his grandkids.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Wanda Clark.

Jon is survived by his children, Chris Reynolds and Michelle (Michael) Eads of Springfield; grandchildren, Jared (Claire) Reynolds of Tucson, AZ, Carter Eads of Springfield, Madelyn Reynolds of Chatham, and Kaitlyn Reynolds of Springfield.

Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Bisch Funeral Home, 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd., Springfield, followed by the Ceremony at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor Dawn Stuemke officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Pawnee.
