Joseph James Timothy Henebry, 77, of Illiopolis, died at 10:44 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Joseph was born on July 19, 1940, the son of Thomas A. and Clare E. Donovan Henebry. He married Marilyn Lorena Wagner in Pawnee in 1962; she preceded him in death on March 2, 1992. Joseph graduated from Cathedral High School, class of 1958. He worked as a farmer since 1971. He was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Illiopolis. Joseph loved dancing, bowling, musicals, and going out to eat with friends. He was a fan of Notre Dame football. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sons, David J. Henebry of Peoria and Daniel P. (Catherine) Henebry of Buffalo; daughter, Rosemarie (Kevin) Murphy of Beason; grandchildren, Lauren and Luke Henebry, Amanda (Luke) Fritch, Alec Murphy, and Katherine Henebry; great-grandchildren, Anabel and Marilyn; and sisters, Marie Therese Henebry and Rosalie Keane, both of Springfield. Visitation and Funeral Mass: Family will receive friends from 9:00 - 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Resurrection Catholic Church, 410 Anne Street, Illiopolis. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Fredrick Mbiere, celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
