

Joseph G. Trello, 69, of Springfield died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, October 23, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center. Joe was born January 2, 1936 in Quincy, IL the son of George and Stella Fiefer Trello. He married Sharon Cain Cassiday in August 1972 in Lincoln, IL. Mr. Trello was a 1954 graduate of Cathedral Boys School and graduated from Millikin University with a degree in Business Administration. He served in the U.S. Army in the National Security Agency. Joe also was employed as an Assistant Purchasing Agent for St. John’s Hospital, owned and operated Papa Joe’s Restaurants and managed Latin Village Restaurant and was later a consultant for Pawnee Oil. He is survived by his wife: Sharon Trello; two daughters: Dr. J. Kathlene (husband, Robert) Rishel of Colleyville, TX and Noelle M. Trello of Springfield; one son: Andrew Joseph (wife, Jennifer) Trello of Springfield; four stepsons: James B. (wife, Linda) Cassiday of Rochester, Kelly (wife, Ellen) Cassiday and Michael (wife, Judy) Cassiday both of Springfield and Matt (wife, Susan) Cassiday of Rochester; three grandchildren and eight stepgrandchildren. Cremation accorded by the Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Rev. Donald Meehling, officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Always and Forever Memorial & Honor Program, 2580 Federal Dr., Ste. 403, Decatur, IL 62526. The family of Joe Trello is being served by Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield.
