

Judy was born September 23, 1939, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Delmar W. and Marcella (Cameron) Corra.
Judy attended Bath High School in Bath, IL. Her faith and family were a very important part of her life. Judy attended St. Aloysius regularly and was a member her entire life. She worked for various companies, including Pillsbury Mills as a machine operator for 22 years, Springfield Memorial Hospital in the cardiac unit, and finally retired from Sacred Heart Church after 16 years. She was always happy, loving, kind, generous, and always there for anyone in need. Judy loved music, dancing, family vacations, bowling, walking, and being the number one cheerleader for all the children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmar and Marcella; stepfather, Edward Adkins; previous husband, Jim Kuizin, father to her children; brother-in-law, Michael Ayers; and son-in-law, Michael Barnard.
Judy is survived by her partner, William Guinn of Springfield; daughter, Marcia Barnard of Springfield; sons, Thomas (Susan) Kuizin, and James (John Foreman) Kuizin, all of Springfield; four grandchildren, Cassandra and Tracy Kuizin, Nicholas (Rachel) Barnard all of Springfield, IL, and Matthew (Jo) Barnard of Chatham, IL; four great grandchildren, Landon, Brynn, Emily, and Lucas Barnard all of Springfield; brothers, Jim (Jane) Adkins and Daniel (Debbie) Adkins of Springfield; sisters, Sarah (Robert) Walsh and Marilee Ayers of Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial Gathering and Mass of Christian Burial: Family will receive friends from 9:00-9:45 A.M., Monday, June 2, 2025, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2000 E. Sangamon Ave., Springfield, IL. Mass will follow at 10:00 A.M. with Father George Nellikunnel, celebrant.
Memorial contributions may be made to Dale and Deborah Smith Center for Alzheimer’s Research and Treatment or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
