She was born on January 30, 1942, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Elmer and Dorothy (Loggins) Garlo, who preceded her in death. Judy had a loving marriage with Kenny Robison, and he also preceded her in death, on April 23, 1993.
Judy graduated from Lanphier High School. She worked in the insurance industry in the clerical department. Judy loved life to the fullest, bingo with her friends, playing games with her pogo players, chatting on her computer with friends and family, and watching professional wrestling. She was known as a “cool aunt” that was loving, vibrant, caring, and strong, and was a fighter throughout her sickness.
Judy is survived by her son, Edward Denniss of Springfield; bonus sons, Mike Sommerfeld and Mark Myer; sisters, Norma Jean Garlo and Linda (Randy) Waldron; and niece, Starr Snowden.
Funeral Ceremony: 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Butler Funeral Home – Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield, with Rev. Mike Keppler, Care Pastor.
Burial will take place at Camp Butler National Cemetery, at a later date.
