Judy Ann Smith, 58, of Springfield, died at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at St. John’s Hospital Hospice. She was born September 25, 1945 in Springfield, the daughter of William A. and Beulah Lowe Moss. She married James Cain and he preceded her in death. She married David E. Smith on Dec. 13, 1986 in Springfield. Judy was a member of Christian Assembly Church. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Lemuel Moss. She is survived by her husband: David E. Smith of Springfield, daughter: Amanda Kay Smith at home, two brothers: Evan (wife, Barbara) Moss and Leroy (wife, Judith) Moss both of Springfield, sister-in-law: Alice Moss of New Berlin and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation will be accorded by the Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. A memorial service will be held at Christian Assembly Church, 2105 E. Reservoir, Springfield and burial in Chatham Memorial Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Charity of Donor’s Choice.
