Junior Leroy Garner, 81, of Springfield, died at 3:07 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center. Junior was born December 3, 1926 in Roodhouse, IL, the son of Walter and Isabell Van Hyning Garner. He was employed as a truck driver. He was a life long member of the NRA. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by four sons; four daughters; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; and two brothers. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. Private graveside ceremonies will be held at a later date.
