Karen was born in Springfield on March 18, 1949, the daughter of Rupert C. and Marguerite M. (Lyons) Wallman. She married Jonathan L. “Jon” Reynolds in Springfield, February 14, 1970, and he survives.
Also surviving are her children; Chris Reynolds and Michelle (Michael) Eads of Springfield, four grandchildren: Jared (Claire) Reynolds of Tucson, AZ, Carter Eads of Springfield, Madelyn Reynolds of Chatham, and Kaitlyn Reynolds of Springfield. She has several nieces and nephews.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Danny Wallman and Bobby Wallman.
She spent her professional career in the insurance industry. She was an underwriter for AIG and then helped them with training for several months. Later, she worked for United Trust Group which she retired from.
Karen was an avid NASCAR fan. She and Jon followed their favorite driver Kyle Larson. She was also a devoted St. Louis Cardinal fan. She was most fond of Matt Carpenter.
Family and Friends are invited to a time of visitation on Saturday, April 26, 2025, beginning at 9:00 am until the time of a funeral service at 10:30 am at Bisch Funeral Home West 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd. Springfield, IL. Pastor Dawn Stuemke will officiate. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery, Pawnee, IL.
