Kathy L. Cummings

Kathy L.Cummings, 58, of Loami, died on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center. Kathy was born February 8, 1950 in Springfield, the daughter of Kenneth and Colleen Mc Cray Cloyd, they preceded her in death. She married William Cummings on September 18, 1967 in Springfield. Kathy was a graduate of New Berlin High School. Kathy was a homemaker for most of her life, and for a time worked as a Police Dispatcher. Kathy and her husband were former members of the Route 66 and COOL Cruisers. She is also preceded in death by a sister Cindy Cloyd and her grandparents Millard and Margie Cloyd. She is survived by her husband, William Cummings of Loami; two sons, Darrin (Shannon) Cummings of New Berlin and Todd (Stephanie) Cummings of Pawnee; four grandchildren, Brady, Cam, Will and Autumn Cummings, as well as a grandchild on the way; two brothers, Dennis (Linda) Cloyd and Tim (Lynn) Cloyd both of Loami; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family will receive friends from 5:00 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 with a funeral ceremony at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at McCullough-Delaney and Butler Funeral Home, 714 E. Gibson St., New Berlin, IL. Anthony Bliss will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Loami.
