

Keith Ann Fitzsimmons, 65, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at St. John's Hospital. Keith Ann was born on June 6, 1943 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Keith Leon and Martha "Maxine" Ford Manion. Keith Ann graduated from West Port High School before becoming a dedicated employee for Laketown Pharmacy, Glass Specialty, and Stone Wheel. She was a volunteer for the Easter Seals; helping organize their fundraiser telethons and volunteered for the Abraham Lincoln Quarter Midget Association. Keith Ann enjoyed working on her computer, reading, travelling to places like Eureka Springs, Nashville, Memphis, and New Orleans, and loved her dogs, Katrina and Shiloh. Keith Ann was also a member of the Red Hats and was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and racing. She was very generous, always giving others the spotlight and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Preceding Keith Ann in death are her husband, Harvey Fitzsimmons; her parents; and her brother, Bert Leon "Lonnie" Manion. She is survived by her children, Camron (wife, Tami) Fitzsimmons of Springfield, Kelli (husband, John) Hornshaw of Springfield, and Calvin Fitzsimmons of Dawson; her grandchildren, Cassandra Hornshaw, Kyle Fitzsimmons, and Tia, and Caden Fitzsimmons; her brother, Ronald (wife, Barbara) Manion of Kansas City, MO; in addition to several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2008 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. A funeral ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following ceremonies.
