Kenneth H. Jacobs

Kenneth H. Jacobs, 54, of Springfield, passed away at 5:52 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2002 at Memorial Medical Center Emergency Room. Kenneth was born April 6, 1948 in Springfield the son of John and Leah White Jacobs. He married Mary Ketchum in 1967 in Springfield. Kenneth was employed by City Water Light and Power and retired as Superintendent of Lake Services. He was also a Certified Arborist. He was preceded in death by his father and granddaughter Amber. He is survived by his wife Mary of Springfield, one son: John Jacobs of Springfield; two daughters: Kimberly Jacobs-Harmony of Springfield, Tanya Jacobs of Springfield; three grandchildren: Jessica, Jordyn and Allison; mother: Leah Jacobs of Springfield; two brothers: Carl (wife, Karen) Jacobs of Springfield, Stanley (wife, Sally) Jacobs of Godfrey and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home from 3-6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 3, 2002. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2002 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Reverend Ken Dogget officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
