Lia Kate Fultz

She is survived by her mother, Sarah (Bill) Eves; father, Dan (Nichole) Fultz of Springfield; sisters, Ava and Emelia Fultz; stepsisters, Amelia and Sophie Eves; half-sister, Ella Fultz; and stepsiblings, Alaina, Alec, and Eli Elberson all of Springfield; grandparents, Nancy Laird of Springfield, and Dan and Joan Fultz of Sullivan; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ross Laird.

Lia attended Springfield High School and was majoring in psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she was a member of the alpha Kappa Delta Phi Asian honors sorority. While in Springfield, she worked in the dining room at Concordia Village.

Lia enjoyed traveling with her family; exploring the various neighborhoods of Chicago, especially Chinatown; and spending time with her friends. Lia was adventurous and beautiful, funny, nerdy, and spunky. She will be missed immensely by her friends and family, who will treasure their memories with her forever.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
