Linda Lawson Broadway, born February 22, 1944 in Shreveport, LA, died Monday, February 10, 2014 at Capitol Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, where she received hospice care from Memorial Home Services. Mrs. Broadway was a loving mother of her sons, James Michael Broadway Jr. of Goleta, CA, and William Paul Broadway of Madison, WI, and of her daughter, Amy Lawson Broadway of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by her sister, Wanda Lawson Wisz of Bossier City, LA, and by her former husband, James Michael Broadway Sr. of Springfield. A substitute teacher for many years, she was a graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville having earned a B.S. degree in education. Graveside Ceremony: 1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2014 at St. Boniface Cemetery in Edwardsville, with Deacon Jerry Cato officiating.
