Linda was born January 7, 1943 in Springfield, daughter of Melba and Charles Shaw.
Linda graduated from Lanphier High School in 1961. She was employed by the City of Springfield until 1999 and a volunteer with St. John’s Hospice in Springfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger.
She is survived by her son, Curt (Julie) Leigh; sister, Penny Cowan-Bale; nieces Tara Leigh Cowan, Linda (Dave) Granquist; nephews, Ryan (Amber) Cowan, Don (Cindy) Shelby, Richard (Karen) Shelby, Derek (Erica) Cowan, Tom (Vicki) Lauman, Steve (Stacy) Lauman and granddaughter, Kendall Leigh.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday May 28, 2025 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 Koke Mill Road. A private graveside service will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
