Linda was born on January 7, 1943, in Spokane, WA, the daughter of Thomas and Dorothy (Mitchell) Gow.
Linda had a true passion for the NFL and looked forward to making her weekly football picks, a tradition she enjoyed sharing with those around her. She was also a devoted animal lover, always eager to support causes close to her heart. Linda generously contributed to the ASPCA, the Children’s Network, and countless other organizations whenever she saw a chance to help someone in need.
Above all, Linda cherished the time she spent with her family. Her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. She will be remembered with love and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of being part of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Dorothy; husband, Paul; and brother, William Gow.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Debbie of Springfield, IL; son, Brian (Stephanie) Ott of Chatham, IL; and four grandchildren, Haley (Jacob) Bennett and Brandon, Bradley, and Jackie Ott all of Springfield, IL.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Camp Butler National Cemetery, 5063 Camp Butler Rd., Springfield, IL.
