

Linda was born on July 25, 1955, in Springfield, the daughter of Homer and Patsy (May) Flanagan. She married John Pierceall on July 25, 2012. He preceded her in death on November 3, 2014.
Linda graduated from Riverton High School in 1973 and earned an associate degree from Lincoln Land Community College. She lived in Springfield the majority of her life and spent some time in New Mexico. Linda retired from the Secretary of State’s office after many years of employment. She enjoyed gardening and loved caring for flowers. Linda was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, loved music and attending live shows, and liked racing.
She was also preceded in death by her father, Homer Flanagan.
Linda is survived by her mother, Patsy (Bill) Strawbridge of Riverton; sons, John Kyle (Rachell) Caldwell of Riverton, and Robert Ragan of Springfield; daughter, Chrystal Ragan of Springfield; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Pamela (Joseph) Klinger of Springfield, Jimmie Flanagan of Mechanicsburg, William (Monica) Flanagan of Riverton, and Gary Flanagan of Riverton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside Ceremony: 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating.
The family is being served by Boardman-Smith Funeral Home, 800 S. Grand Ave. West, Springfield.
