

Logan was born on April 5, 2001 in Springfield, the son of Charles E. and Melissa K. Mester Fornoff.
Logan was a graduate of Pleasant Plains High School. He was a caring, loving, and outgoing person, who enjoyed his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Logan was involved with the Boy Scouts through Abraham Lincoln Council Troop 13. He held 33 merit badges, earned the Order of the Arrow Honor and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He held the office of Quarter Master, was a Troop Instructor, an Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and a Senior Patrol Leader. Logan also enjoyed fishing, swimming, boating, hanging out with his friends, and playing video games.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter and Joyce Fornoff; and uncle, Eugene Fornoff.
He is survived by his parents, Charles and Melissa Fornoff, both of Springfield; three siblings, Kayla (Jordan) Lauer of Tallula, IL, Rachael (Nicholas) Dunlevy of Springfield, and Madilyn Fornoff of Springfield; nephews, Keaton and Rhett; nieces, Ryleigh, Clara, and Vera; maternal grandparents, Glen and Patsy Mester; two uncles, Joe Fornoff and Michael (Charlotte) Mester; and three cousins.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home—Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield.
Funeral Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home—Springfield with Mud Meister and Kirk Laudeman, officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Point Cemetery in Athens.
