Loretta Fleck

Loretta A. Fleck, 84, of Waverly, passed away at 11:18 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2011 at her home. Loretta was born November 12, 1926 in New Berlin, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Thomas Harbauer. She married Carl H. Fleck in Springfield in 1946; he preceded her in death in 1993. Loretta was a member of St. Sebastian's Catholic Church in Waverly and a very talented seamstress. She enjoyed making quillows, which are still being sold today. Loretta was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her children, Jeanne Barlow of Waverly, Carol Outain of Waverly, Mary (Charles) Palmer of Rushville, Carl H. (Marilyn) Fleck III of Rochester, William (Carol) Fleck of Buffalo, Eileen (Herbert) Blickenstaff of Browning, John Fleck of Springfield, Paul (Wendy) Fleck of York, PA, Charles (Linda) Fleck of Rushville, Martin (Rosie) Fleck of Beardstown, Gilda (Greg) Koenig of Linn Creek, MO, and Gerald (Jenna) Fleck of Summerfield; 22 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Inez (George) Mitchell of Lincoln; and dozens of nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral ceremony at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 10, 2011 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
