Lorraine Cummings, 71, of Springfield, died at 2:15 a.m. Friday, September 03, 2004 at her home. Lorraine was born January 19, 1933 in Louisiana the daughter of Ancil Virgil and Hilda Chenvert Morse. Ms. Cummings was employed as a teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ancil Virgil and Hilda Chenvert Morse. She is survived by one daughter: Catherine Bockmier of Springfield; one grandson: James Bockmier of St. Louis and one sister: Gail Morse of AL. Cremation will be accorded by the Cremation Tribute Center. Services will be at a later date. The family of Loraine Cummings is being served by Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield.
