

Lucille was born on September 5, 1937, in Blackey, KY, the daughter of Kernie and Iva Huddleston Day. She married Cornelius “Connie” Sullivan on June 28, 1957, at Assembly of God in Pawnee.
Lucille was a 1956 graduate of South Fork High School in Kincaid. She worked at Franklin Life and retired from Horace Mann. Lucille enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Imogene Day Dowdell, Millie Day White, Danny Day, Bobby Day, Mahala Day Hall, Kathleen Day Siler, and Jack Day, Sr.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Connie Sullivan of Rochester; two sons, Tim (wife, Janna) Sullivan of Rochester and Tom (wife, Linda) Sullivan of Thousand Oaks, CA; four grandchildren, Todd (wife, Holly) Sullivan, Tanya (husband, David) Sullivan-Higgerson, Kelly (husband, Todd) Heibner, and Bryan (wife, Kim) Casad; 8 great-grandchildren, Alex Sullivan-Merwin, Chanse Heibner, Kaleb Sullivan, Ian Heibner, Maddox Heibner, Greyson Sullivan, Brin Casad, and Kip Casad; and several bonus grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:15 a.m. on Monday, June 19, 2023, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield. A Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Austin Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee.
