M. Ann Laycock

Ann was born on August 30, 1943 in Mattoon, the daughter of Leonard and Martha Spitz Miller. She married Larry Laycock; he preceded her in death on August 30, 1995.

Ann graduated from St. Mary of the Woods. She retired from Charles C. Thomas Publishing after 25 years, and was a member of St. Josephs Church in Chatham. She loved working in her yard, reading, and spending time with her family.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her son, Koy (Debbie) Kupisch of Glenarm; grandchildren, Kyle Kupisch of Glenarm and Marissa Novel of Phoenix, AZ; and siblings, Linda Schmidt of Peoria and Bill (Ann) Miller of Mattoon.

Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Home, 800 South Grand Ave. West, Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service.

Memorial Ceremony: 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Home with Rev. John Nolan officiating.
