Maggie Morine Young, 61, of Springfield, formerly of Fairfield, passed away at 4:35 a.m., Thursday, June 14, 2001 at St. John's Hospital Hospice Unit. Maggie was born May 11, 1940 the daughter of David A. and Rosella Harrison McCleary in Fairfield. She married Richard F. Young October 22, 1971 in Paxton. Mrs. Young was a homemaker and a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband: Richard F. Young of Springfield; two sons: Christopher M. (wife, Stacee) Young of Dallas, TX, Paul G. Young of Springfield; one daughter: April Robyn (husband, Max) Flannery of Girard; two grandchildren: Dalton Avery Young of Dallas, TX, Ryan Flannery of Girard; two sisters: Stella M. (husband, Richard) Pinnell of Farmersville; Kay (husband, Richard) Johnson of Fairfield; one brother: Richard D. (wife, Betty) McCleary of Salem and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Private graveside services are being held at Camp Butler National Cemetery. The family of Maggie Morine Young is being served by Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
