Margaret Jane Reed

Margaret Jane Reed, 66, of Tamaroa, died at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 22, 2014 at Fairview Nursing Center. Jane was born December 19, 1947 in Litchfield, the daughter of Eugene and Katherine Heise Clearwater. She married John T. Reed on April 26, 1969 at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Jane lived in Springfield from 1967 until 2005 when she and her husband moved to Tamaroa. Jane was co-owner with her husband John "Jack" Reed of A-1 Rooter Sewer, a septic service company founded in 1978. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Shirley Lynn Reed; and two sisters, Charlotte Rose Reynolds and Constance Reener. She is survived by her husband, John "Jack" Reed of Tamaroa; one daughter, Shelley (husband, Robert) Huck of Springfield; four grandchildren, Audrey, Marianne, Gregory, and Katherine Huck, all of Springfield; one great-grandchild, Kaden Oldridge of Springfield; siblings, Robert (wife, Clara) Clearwater, John Clearwater, Marianne (husband, Nick) Hollis, and Kathleen Clearwater; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation and Graveside Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. A graveside ceremony will immediately follow at 1 p.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in New Berlin with Rev. Philip Kraft officiating.
