Marilyn Kae Buguveski

Marilyn Kae Buguveski, 64, of Springfield passed away at 11:11 a.m. on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at St. John�s Hospital. Marilyn was born on July 18, 1945 in Springfield, the daughter of John and Adella Gent Buguveski. She was a graduate of St. Aloysius Grade School and Ursuline Academy. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Marilyn worked for DCFS for over 35 years where she was a Contract Analyst. She loved to cook, garden, fish, read, go antiquing and traveling. She was a kind, generous, fun loving person who loved life to the fullest spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Barbara Buguveski; and her beloved pet, Bentley. She is survived by her twin sister, Carolyn (husband, Lonnie) Williams of Jacksonville; one niece, Andrea (husband, Greg) Martin of Springfield; nephews, Greg (wife, Lori) Williams of White Hall and Jeff Williams of Springfield; six great nieces and nephews, Caroline and Chloe Martin, Gannon Williams, Brock, Nina and Nicole Williams; two aunts, Matilda Parks and Betty Chernis, both of Springfield; and several cousins. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield, with a prayer service to begin at 4:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 9, 2010 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2119 N. 20th St., Springfield, Rev.
