

Marilyn Kae Buguveski, 64, of Springfield passed away at 11:11 a.m. on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at St. John�s Hospital. Marilyn was born on July 18, 1945 in Springfield, the daughter of John and Adella Gent Buguveski. She was a graduate of St. Aloysius Grade School and Ursuline Academy. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Marilyn worked for DCFS for over 35 years where she was a Contract Analyst. She loved to cook, garden, fish, read, go antiquing and traveling. She was a kind, generous, fun loving person who loved life to the fullest spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Barbara Buguveski; and her beloved pet, Bentley. She is survived by her twin sister, Carolyn (husband, Lonnie) Williams of Jacksonville; one niece, Andrea (husband, Greg) Martin of Springfield; nephews, Greg (wife, Lori) Williams of White Hall and Jeff Williams of Springfield; six great nieces and nephews, Caroline and Chloe Martin, Gannon Williams, Brock, Nina and Nicole Williams; two aunts, Matilda Parks and Betty Chernis, both of Springfield; and several cousins. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield, with a prayer service to begin at 4:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 9, 2010 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2119 N. 20th St., Springfield, Rev. David J. Hoefler, celebrant. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2580 Federal Drive, Suite 403, Decatur, IL 62526.
