

Marlene Rae (Parrish) Kremitzki, 86, of Springfield, passed away at 11:35 a.m. on Monday, October 9, 2017 at her home. Marlene was born February 26, 1931 in Springfield, the daughter of Roy J. and Mabel Walker Parrish. She married Robert J. Kremitzki Sr. on December 31, 1949; he preceded her in death. Marlene attended Feitshans High School. She worked as a bookkeeper and clerk at K-Mart for 24 years, and worked part time at Sandys. She was a member of St. Aloysius Parish. Marlene enjoyed sewing, cooking, wine-making, traveling, watching birds and butterflies, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Kremitzki, Jr.; two grandsons, Leonard A. Dennison, Jr. and Scott Kremitzki; and siblings, Frances Leach and Johnnie, Raymond, George, Ellen, June, and Jewel Parrish. Marlene is survived by her sons, Gary (Nancy) Kremitzki of Thayer and David Kremitzki and Dennis (Susie) Kremitzki, both of Springfield; daughters, Mary (George) Rohlfing of Virden, Patricia (Dick) White of Springfield, and Barbara (Marshall) Skaar of Grand Canyon, AZ; nineteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. Graveside Ceremony: 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Roselawn Memorial Park (Virtues of Life Columbarium), 1735 S.
