Mercedes W. (Dahlkamp) Fleck

Mercedes W. (Dahlkamp) Fleck, 92, of Auburn, passed away on Tuesday February 7, 2017 at Auburn Nursing and Rehab. She was born on September 26, 1924 in Jeanette, Pennsylvania to William Clyde and Anna Marie Trickarn Irwin. She married Allan J. Dahlkamp and Raymond Fleck and they both preceded her in death.

Mrs. Fleck is survived by two sons: Allan R. (Zana) Dahlkamp of Rochester and David (Pat) Dahlkamp of Glenarm, one sister Louise Stubbs of Springfield, five grandchildren: Jeffery Dahlkamp, Felecia Hurley, Tara Waterman , Chris Dahlkamp, and Tara Puma, and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Duane Edward Dahlkamp.

Mercedes worked for the Federal Agriculture Department retiring after thirty years of service. She then spent many years in Mission, Texas.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Friday February 10, 2017 at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 633 South Walnut Street in Rochester with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Springfield. The family will meet friends from 9:00am until the time of mass Friday at church.
