

Mike was born September 7, 1944 in Springfield, the son of Fintan Herman and Valda Marie Green Schuh.
As a young man, Mike cooked at the Fleetwood Restaurant. He also worked at Amrheins bakery for years.
He wrote over a thousand poems, many song lyrics and had at least 20 books published.
Mike proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post 32.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by one daughter, Doris Marie Schuh of Springfield; one son, Michael Schuh of Springfield; one grandchild, Jamie Schuh of Springfield; two sisters, Rose Marie (husband, Ron) Oller and Christine (husband, Frank) Price, all of Springfield; two brothers, Tom (wife, Barbara) Schuh and Jerry (wife, Sue) Schuh, all of Springfield; two aunts, Lea (husband, John) Titone and Ruth Green, all of Springfield; ex-wife, Judy Schuh of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.
Memorial Gathering and Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial ceremony at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. Private family burial will take place at a later time.
