Nancy J Lueschen

Nancy was born in Springfield, October 2, 1933, the daughter of Ralph and Mildred (Zucksworth) Burtle. She married Karl F. Lueschen, and he preceded her in death at a young age December 12, 1970. She was also preceded in death by her three sisters: Martha Strawn in 2017 and Mary Frances Grady in 2020, and Catherine Dozier in 2024.

Nancy worked for Franklin Life Insurance Company and then after Karl passed away, she became a devoted mother to her children. She was an accomplished seamstress and found great joy in it. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church LCMS.

Surviving are her three children: Jeff (wife Jackie) Lueschen of Springfield, Keith Lueschen of Chatham and Jennifer (companion Terry) Redpath of Belleville, IL. She has four grandchildren: Brandon Lueschen of Springfield, Karl (wife Megan) Lueschen of St. Peters, MO, Zach (wife Sarah) Redpath of Springfield and Brock Lueschen of Springfield, three great grandchildren; Maverick Lueschen, Sadie Redpath and Wyatt Redpath. Nancy is also survived by her sister, Susan Timko of Rochelle, IL.

Arrangements are in the care of Bisch and Son Funeral Home 505 E. Allen St. Springfield, where family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, October 30, 2025, beginning at 10 am until the time of a funeral service at 12 noon. Pastor Jonathan Sharp will officiate. Burial will follow in Rovey Cemetery, Farmersville, IL.
