Nancy Irene Tebrugge

She was born on April 17, 1948, in Springfield, the daughter of John and Marcella (May) House.

Nancy was a proud graduate of Sacred Heart Academy (Class of 1966) and earned her associate’s degree from St. John’s Nursing School. She devoted 38 years of her life to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the CPU department at St. John’s Hospital. Nancy had a deep love for her patients and built lasting friendships with her colleagues—bonds she cherished throughout her life. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering compassion for both people and animals. Grateful for the firemen of Station #12 who once saved her life, Nancy embraced the gift of extra time with humor, faith, and radiant positivity. Despite her health struggles, she remained strong for her daughters and appreciative of every caregiver who showed her grace and dedication. Nancy found joy in family gatherings, card games, and rooting for her favorite teams—the Cardinals, Warriors, and Chiefs. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren filled her heart with laughter and love. A devoted Catholic, she was a member of both the Church of the Little Flower and St. Agnes Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and stepfather, Paul Snyder.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Deanna (Mark Kuchar) Tebrugge, Dana (Jeff) Bostwick, and Dawn Harrod; grandchildren, Katie (Zach) McBeth, Megan (Kyle) Boggs, and Grace and Adam Kuchar; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Bryant Boggs; and siblings, Tony and Richard (Shayne) House.

Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center, prior to services.

Memorial Gathering and Mass of Christian Burial: Family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2025, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 245 N. Amos Ave., Springfield, followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Very Rev. Daniel J. Bergbower, V.F., celebrant.

A private burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
